| Topic Options |
Each topic can be divided into many sub-topics or aspects
and approached from a variety of angles (e.g. linguistic,
technological, historical, aesthetic, ethical, ideological,
visual, etc.). The choice of topics is as follows:
- Future/Change – the shape of things to come
- Global Issues – issues reaching beyond national
frontiers
- Language/Culture – impact of language on
the modern world
- Media – the principal means of mass communication
- Society – the concerns of society as a
collective in contrast to the concerns of the individual
